People who trained here

I have been attending these camps for well over a decade, dating back to the early camps organized by Michael Hocknius. Over the years, I have had the privilege of seeing the idea evolve and grow through the efforts of Martin Guggi, Renato Migliaccio, and many other friends and instructors who have helped shape what BJJ Intensive Camps are today. What has always impressed me is how the camps keep getting better. Every detail is so thoughtfully organized that you can completely free your mind from everyday concerns and focus on what really matters: learning, training, and enjoying Jiu-Jitsu. For me, these camps are much more than just a place to train. They are where I make some of my biggest leaps in skill, thanks to the outstanding workshops and world-class instruction. But just as importantly, they are where I reconnect with friends from all over Europe, strengthen old friendships, and build new ones. Over the years, attending these camps has become a tradition not only for me, but also for many students of the Chris Eckert Academy. Every summer, it is one of the highlights of our year. No matter where the camps are held, I know I will find exceptional Jiu-Jitsu, great people, and the unique atmosphere that makes this community so special.

The camps are incredible. You can choose between many classes depending on your own level and personal interests. I really enjoy meeting up with friends from different places to train, roll, and chat together.
